The three ships in the simply named Small Cruise Ship Class are considerably older than the line's Explorer Class ships and aren't quite as big — or opulent — as their sisters. In an effort to improve passenger flow, for instance, Regent turned around the grand staircase in the central atrium on Seven Seas Splendor as compared to how it was laid out on Seven Seas Explorer. A major focal point of the vessel's interior, the staircase now cascades down from the public areas on Deck 5 toward the magnificent, marble-floored promenade on Deck 4.
In-depth Exploration and Bespoke Holiday Experiences
All the while, you have unlimited access to gourmet dining—lobster, filet mignon, Champagne—with every need seen to by a solicitous crew. Besides the bright and open design in ocean-inspired hues of blue and cream, I loved the attention to detail in my suite, down to the field glasses sitting in the cabinet, ready to help you spot wildlife or faraway islands. The two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath Regent Suite, priced at $11,000 per night, offers spectacular amenities including its own hot tub, unlimited spa services offered in-suite, and private dining in a room hidden between two of the ship’s specialty restaurants. Sail the high seas in style and visit everywhere from Bermuda to Bali with Regent Seven Seas Cruises. This all-inclusive luxury cruise line offers over 300 ports-of-call, making sure you see the best and brightest in each region and have the opportunity to try some unique and exciting shore excursions.
Travel
So, at Regent Seven Seas Cruises – the only truly all-inclusive luxury cruise line – we offer thousands of FREE Unlimited Shore Excursions to explore however you please when sailing to the over 550 ports of call that we sail to across the globe. Travel with the security and comfort of The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet™, enjoying the freedom that comes with our Unrivaled Space at Sea®. Regent is offering the new itinerary as a growing number of travelers are becoming interested in lengthier cruise voyages. The Culinary Arts Kitchen — Regent’s cooking school at sea — is a gorgeous space where guests can learn how to make dishes inspired by the places they’re sailing to — without having to do any of the prep work or clean up. I took a class and learned how to make pasta al limone and crepes; I loved the hands-on instruction and picked up a few helpful tips to use when I cook at home. With a turquoise pool surrounded by dozens of sun loungers, several hot tubs, outdoor sports courts, and a host of daily activities ranging from trivia to live entertainment, there’s plenty to do on board the Regent Seven Seas Grandeur.
Miami, Florida
It’s part of a 1,600-piece art collection that includes classic black-and-white photos from global destinations adorning the hallways between cabins to the steakhouse’s original Picassos. Travelers could spend a good afternoon wandering hallways and public spaces, akin to visiting a museum. There’s also an outdoor relaxation area with three whirlpools looking back over water; this was one of my favorite places to spend time admiring the ocean during our three-night cruise.

Restaurants that celebrate the world's greatest cuisines are another onboard highlight, with choices ranging from the modern French flair of Chartreuse to Pan-Asian flavours at Pacific Rim and the simple pleasure of a perfect burger at the Pool Grill. A voyage on this ship, or any of the others in the Regent Seven Seas Cruises' fleet, is sure to be an experience that's worth writing home about. On cruises of 15 nights or longer, two evenings are "Formal Optional." On these nights, you can -- if you so desire -- dress to impress, with gowns or cocktail dresses for women, and tuxes, dinner jackets or dark suits with ties for men. On the final evening of the cruise, when everyone is busy packing to go home, the dress code sensibly is "relaxed casual." Offering all-inclusive cruising, Regent Seven Seas cruises are refined, elegant and a place to see the world in style. Take a look at this photo gallery to get an idea of what a Regent cruise has to offer you.

One big difference, though, is that these three older ships don't have the truly giant suites found on the Explorer Class ships. The biggest suites on all three of the vessels are in the 1,000-square-foot to 1,200-square-foot range. Among other luxury touches, every cabin on every Regent ship is a suite, and the number of restaurants, bars and lounges is impressive for vessels of this size. Still, while the ships are smaller than what you'll find at a mass-market line, they're not cramped.

There's no need to grab coffee before harnessing up for the part-zipling, part-agility Crown's Edge course. You'll be jolted awake when the floor drops from beneath your feet, leaving you dangling 154 feet above the ocean before the zipline kicks in. While I would've preferred a quieter atmosphere (the DJ did not, in fact, play smooth jazz), the pool's views, day beds, and lack of screaming children were hard to beat. If you're a frequent cruiser — especially with Royal Caribbean — amenities like the mini-golf course and water playground may not seem exciting. The last two of these are now reckoned to be part of the Atlantic Ocean, and the Mediterranean either part of the Atlantic or omitted.

With every luxury included, we’ve elevated all-inclusive travel, inviting you to take hold of every moment and make life-long memories to share with friends and family for years to come. Make your voyage your own with custom enhancements and allow our incredible crew to take care of every detail on an all-inclusive cruise that truly is An Unrivaled Experience®. Plenty of family-friendly cruise ships have waterslides, but few have six — or even one that requires a multi-person raft. But of all the activities the new world's largest cruise ship has to offer, my eight favorites are, for the most part, ones I've yet to see on another vessel.
You’ll also find plenty of other itinerary options leaving from ports all over the globe. Contact an expert Regent cruise consultant at The Cruise Web today to learn more. The Splendor comes as the newest ship in the Regent Seven Seas line since the Seven Seas Explorer began cruising oceans in 2016, featuring (at the time) new all-suite, all-balcony rooms, hosted up to 750 guests, and served as the most luxurious ship ever built.
Boston is home to great sports, great food and loads of history with the Freedom Trail and Harvard. With Amsterdam’s beautiful canals and an open attitude you’ll find no shortage of interesting attractions in the capital of The Netherlands. It's the first show-at-sea I've seen with a waterfall and nine-foot-tall robotic arms, and so far, it's one of my favorites.
While cruises are often about the ports of call, the Seven Seas Grandeur — sibling ship to RSSC's Seven Seas Explorer and Seven Seas Splendor, is a destination in itself. In fact, although my mom and I were tempted by the unlimited included shore excursions at our port in the Bahamas, we opted to stay on board to experience every amenity the ship had to offer. The pinnacle of sailing options is the 4,443-square-foot Regent Suite at $11,000 a night. It features a $200,000 Hästens Vividus custom handmade mattress, an in-suite spa retreat with a personal sauna and steam room and 270-degree views from the ship’s bow from a 1,292-square-foot wraparound veranda. Those passengers get their own butler and personal car and driver in every port.
